Upcoming Camp Information
The Player Handbook is updated for the 2023-24 season and we encourage everyone to read it and familiarize themselves with their rights heading into this season. For example:
- Per Diem – You are entitled to $75 USD per day during training camp
- Missed work – You are NOT entitled to missed work pay during training camp
- Mileage – Reimbursable for players driving 60 miles or more round trip (Rate: 0.565 USD/Mile)
- Expenses – All out of pocket expenses are reimbursable; such as:
- Airport Parking
- Baggage
- Taxis
- Relocation Expenses
Cameo
Cameo has asked if any or all of you would be interested in signing up for their platform in order to connect with fans and to monetize your connections. I’m sure many of you are familiar with the company; but, Cameo is a platform for people to connect with their favourite stars (or in our case, players) through personalized video messaging.
It is a straightforward onboarding process, you set your price to make a personalized video and you only make a video once you have been ‘hired’ and paid. Please see the instructions below:
- Download the Cameo app on your phone, click talent sign up, and enter VIP code cameovip23.
- Walk through the onboarding steps and complete your introduction video to be live and bookable on Cameo.
