Hello Members,
Thank you for your support throughout the election process. It was exciting to see such high participation and interest in the future of our Union. We are thrilled to be acting as your new President and Vice President. It was a close election and we look forward to earning all of your trust through our actions and hard work.
We are very thankful of all the work our incumbents, Peter and Dave, have done for ourselves, the players and the Union. They laid many years of groundwork that we will be forever thankful for.
UPCOMING SEASON
We have spoke with the league about the upcoming season and you can expect a joint announcement next week. We will be working with the league in the upcoming months in the hopes of having a season this year.
OPT-OUT DATE: NOV 1
An important date you should all be aware of is our November 1st CBA opt-out date. We will have discussions with the election committee early next week regarding this decision. We will update you next week.
Dave Succamore
We are aware that Dave Succamore sent an email late last night from the Union email address. We are dealing with this situation and we will have discussions with the executive committee on what we would like to do moving forward.
Tony Glavin
It saddened us to hear about Tony moving on from our Union, but we respect his decision. We would like to thank Tony for all of his hard work with the Union over the years. If you are one of his current clients, we will be following up with you next week about your options.
