Members,
The NLLPA and the NLL have agreed to unfreeze rosters on Monday, May 17, 2021.
All player contracts expiring following the canceled 2020-21 season will need to be renegotiated. All multi-year contracts will move on to the next year of the contract, the 2021-22 season. However, the canceled season will not count towards a season played with respect to free agency.
We encourage all of you to take advantage of our regional attorneys. However, if you want to negotiate your own contracts, we would like you to have as much information at your disposal as possible.
The NLLPA’s new Intern, Sam, was kind enough to pull the information from all of your contracts and assemble a spreadsheet. Travis Cornwall has helped put together a Player Handbook that outlines your rights and responsibilities as a Player in the NLL and a member of the NLLPA.
