IN SEASON – Trade & Signing of Restricted Free Agents Deadline:
The Trade and signing of Restricted Free Agents deadline will be designated by the League at approximately 66% of League games played in the regular season.
IN SEASON – Non Rostered Free Agent Signing Deadline:
The deadline to sign non rostered free agents will be designated as two weeks prior to the end of the League regular season. Only internal transactions will be allowed from within a Club’s existing roster upon a date designated by the League, which will be prior to the last two weekends of the regular season. Roster transactions will not be permitted after a member clubs’ last game in their season.
IN SEASON – Roster Make up:
Twenty-one (21) player Active Roster and up to ten (10) inactive players for a total of thirty-one 31 players.
Up to four players on Practice Squad. Any practice player that is on the active shall be counted as an active player towards the twenty-one player active roster.
Injured Reserve: Players on season ending injured reserve shall not count towards the ten player limit.
Retired Players: Players retired from the club within one year will be counted with the ten player inactive limit. Players retired more than one year must be protected among the ten players in order to be eligible to play post-deadline.
Restricted Free agents on the protected player list shall be included among the inactive players on the 31 player limit and may be signed by their own club post-deadline.
Clubs will only be permitted to activate players from the above roster lists per Bylaw IV B after said deadline.
Non-rostered free agents will not be permitted to be signed after the league deadline as indicated above.
Player transactions within the above listed rosters shall be subject to all applicable rules related to player transactions. Any player released from a roster following the Non Rostered Free Agent Signing deadline shall be ineligible to be re-signed by any club for the remainder of the season.
Any player drafted during the 2023 Entry Draft that is placed on the Draft List due to returning to an NCAA school to play lacrosse for his 5th season shall not count towards the ten-player inactive roster limit.
